Best of Barcelona | 2016

Barcelona in January is a beautiful break from cold and rainy European cities. Our time there we had up to 70 degree weather, making the long walks throughout the city very pleasant.

I did a blog post with more detailed information on the city back in 2013, so I won’t repeat myself in this entry, but here are some photos from my trip there with my two Katie’s!

One thing I realized/learned from this time around in Barcelona is that to have the best location, look for accommodation near Las Ramblas or the beach. Barcelona is so spread out that walking long distances to see the major sights in inevitable, but it is better to be sleeping near all the action with the ability to take the metro to the sights that are located farther away, such as Parc Güell and Sagrada Familia.
